Information about the assessment process:
All evaluations employ a comprehensive approach of gathering relevant information, including interviews with caregivers, observation of the child in at least 1 setting outside of the testing environment, and information gathered from teachers and professionals who have provided supports and services for the child. The administration of tests typically takes place over the course of 2 to 3 days and tests are scheduled during the morning hours to take advantage of the child’s best performance. Subsequent to test administration, there is a feedback meeting scheduled with parents to provide a copy of the assessment report and review all findings and recommendations. Additional collaboration (i.e. with school personnel) can be scheduled upon request.
